“We’re thrilled to sponsor this virtual toy drive to benefit Toys for Tots to help raise donations this holiday season,” says Sally Lee, Editor-in-Chief of Ladies’ Home Journal. “It’s estimated that 16 million kids might wake on Christmas morning without presents and we want to change that. Our virtual toy drive allows our readers and fans to participate from anywhere and make a child happy with one click of a button.”
First Lady, Michelle Obama inspired Ladies Home Journal to partner with Toys for Tots this year. Mrs. Obama appears on the cover of the magazine, available on newsstands now. The White House supports Toys for Tots every year.
The Marine Corps Reserve began the foundation originally to help kids in need gather toys they would not otherwise receive.
