Dr. Stephen Guffanti is a successful physician despite being dyslexic and a kinesthetic learner. If he were a child today, he would likely be diagnosed with ADHD.
As a How To Learn expert, Dr. Guffanti brings a unique perspective with him – a love of learning and lifetime of struggle to overcome his own learning challenges. So, he’s more than a top learning expert and medical doctor; he’s compassionate and empathetic about all your learning questions and will go the extra mile to assist you whenever you need or want his help.
Dr. Guffanti is currently an emergency room physician in Orange county, has served as school board president in San Diego country, is a homeschool parent; lectures to parents and teachers nationwide, and has created scientifically validated phonics program called Rocket Phonics.
His reading program combines the best of phonics and sight words in a unique way to achieve exceptional results. In a recent study of home school families using Rocket Phonics for three months, student improved their reading skills by an average of 8.9 months!
In addition to these many outstanding achievements, Dr. Guffanti is an expert on ADHD and learning styles, as well as homeschooling his daughter along with his wonderful wife, Maureen.
