Teach Anti-Bullying, a national anti-bullying non-profit organization based in Havertown, PA is dedicated to working with educators and parents on the bullying crisis in our communities. Teach Anti Bullying formed a new partnership with Lansdowne’s Fire Fighters Against Bullying.
Teach Anti-Bullying was launched in November 2011 out of growing concern for the issue of bullying both in the classroom and in the community. Serving children and families who have been, or are being affected by, bullying, Teach Anti-Bullying works to raise awareness and support, while encouraging the collaboration of all stakeholders – children, educators, parents, community leaders, law enforcement, and local, state and federal legislators – in the proactive intervention against bullying as well as the prevention of bullying. Currently, there are 26,000 fire houses in the United States and Fire Fighter’s Against Bullying will be reaching out to all 26,000 in an effort to help raise anti-bullying awareness, provide a safe place for children that are being bullied, and forward all concerned parents to the work with the educational efforts of Teach Antibullying, Inc. and their staff. “Fire Fighter Bill said, we receive many calls regarding bullying support, but never knew where to send parents, and children.” We researched many organizations in the tri-state region, but only one organization stood out that truly provided that underlying support we were seeking in the area of anti-bullying prevention.”
“This joint partnership will create one of, if not the largest anti-bullying movements in the nation, said Dr. Cerullo from Teach Antibullying, Inc, and thus we will truly be able to support and affect the lives of many more children in need.”
