Paying expensive fees for Pre-K may soon be a thing of the past for some parents with  the development of a new universal Pre-kindergarten program starting in New York state.  It’s not uncommon for parents to spend thousands of dollars annually on child care and Pre-K programs for their four year olds. Thanks to a budget agreement that was reached by state and local legislators, an innovative universal statewide Pre-K system is now set to be implemented throughout New York State.
