From 3-6 pm Monday-Friday, elementary school students have a place to learn English, make friends, and get help with homework.
On a recent afternoon, 70 elementary students sat cross-legged in rows on a blue rug at Our Bridge, an afterschool program which is part of a unique non-profit organization.
Education Coordinator Linda Lang got their attention, having them speak in unison with her. “Stop, look, listen” they repeated with her. Then they went over the rules and routine.
