An end of the summer showcase has allowed summer school students showing off their work to share what they have learned with family and friends.
For some students, the payoff for attending summer school was not only showing off their hard work, but getting on track academically and being ahead for the new school year.
Throughout the school, artwork hung on the walls and in the hallways, along with booths and exhibits. Presentations were given inside classrooms detailing the various projects that were worked on by the students.
Fifth grade teacher Kelly Ferguson commented on the variety of projects being displayed in the classrooms.
“The students and teachers all came up with a variety of projects and it made for a really great end of the year showcase,” Ferguson said.
