The Arkansas Department of Education is partnering with Solution Tree to develop professional learning communities among schools throughout the state. According to Assistant Superintendent Cathy Riggins, the grant which supports the professional learning community has three main components: Improving adult and student learning, collaboration within the district, and individual focus on students.
